Hi Vis Safety Apparel for Transit Workers

Seen at the curb, in the yard and along the right-of-way.

Transit agencies put people in traffic every day: bus operators stepping out at stops, maintenance crews in the yard, track and wayside workers, and station staff helping riders. We outfit transit agencies and contractors with ANSI shirts, polos, vests and outerwear that look professional to the public and are decorated with your agency's logo.

What to look for in transit hi vis

  • Class 2 or Class 3 near traffic. Yard, roadside and wayside work calls for ANSI Type R Class 2 or Class 3; Class 3 for night work and higher-speed traffic.
  • A professional look for public-facing staff. Hi vis polos and two-tone styles keep supervisors and station staff visible without looking like a road crew.
  • All-weather layers. Rainwear and insulated parkas for staff who work outside year-round.
  • Your agency's standards. Your agency's and rail operator's rules always come first.
